The University of Arizona Museum of Art holds close to 6,000 works, mostly European and American art from the Renaissance to the present. Its signature piece is the Retablo of Ciudad Rodrigo, a 26-panel Spanish altarpiece from the 15th century painted by Fernando Gallego, Maestro Bartolomé and their workshops. Admission is free for everyone, Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm. The collection also includes Georgia O'Keeffe's Red Canna, Mark Rothko's Green on Blue and Willem de Kooning's Woman-Ochre, which was stolen in 1985 and recovered in 2015. You'll pay for parking, though, at the Park Avenue Garage north of Speedway. From the garage, a pedestrian walkway takes you under Speedway toward the entrance.
