About

Joe Pagac painted this bicycle mural on the back wall of what was then the Epic Rides building at 534 North Stone Avenue, and it was unveiled in November 2017. At about 130 feet wide and 30 feet tall, it was called the largest mural in Tucson at the time. On the left, a cowboy and a folklórico dancer ride bikes in daylight. On the right, her hair turns into the night sky and her dress into the desert, while a javelina, a tortoise and a jackalope pedal along on their own bikes. The wall faces south toward downtown, and the parking lot beside it gives you room to step back for the full view. It's free to see at any hour.
