About

Roosevelt Row is the downtown Phoenix arts district along Roosevelt Street, and it has the city's highest concentration of murals. Walking it costs nothing, and the alley behind The Churchill, known as Mural Alley, holds work by 12 local artists. On the first Friday of each month, from 6 to 10 at night, galleries and art spaces open their doors for a free, self-guided art walk. Spaces on the Row that take part include Alwun House, Eye Lounge, Modified Arts and The Nash. Food, drinks and anything you buy from shops or vendors cost extra. Valley Metro Rail's Roosevelt/Central Ave station is the easy way in, since parking can be limited.
