About

Heritage Square is a small City of Phoenix park downtown and the oldest remaining residential block in the city. Ten restored buildings, each more than a century old, sit around lawns and garden areas. Strolling the square is free, and several of the old buildings now hold restaurants, a coffee and bouquet bar and a museum store. The paid stop is the 1895 Rosson House, a Queen Anne Victorian, where tours cost $15 for adults, $8 for kids 6 to 17 and nothing for children 5 and under. The square shares Heritage & Science Park with the Arizona Science Center, which is a separate paid attraction. Check the Rosson House schedule before you go, because tours run on limited days.
