About

Old Town Scottsdale packs shops, galleries, restaurants and historic sites into about one walkable square mile. Fifth Avenue has boutiques and Native American jewelry stores, and Brown Avenue has the 1933 Old Adobe Mission and the Rusty Spur, the city's oldest cowboy saloon. Walking the streets and wandering the Scottsdale Civic Center park costs nothing, and the Scottsdale Historical Museum there is free too. Western Spirit: Scottsdale's Museum of the West sells tickets, and the shops, restaurants and bars are where the spending happens. On Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m., galleries on Main Street and Marshall Way stay open for ArtWalk, a tradition for more than 45 years. Look for Robert Indiana's LOVE sculpture in the Civic Center and the Bob Parks Horse Fountain at the Fifth Avenue and Marshall Way roundabout.
