About

The Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt is an 11-mile stretch of parks, lakes, paths and golf courses running through the heart of Scottsdale. It began as a flood control project that turned a serious flooding hazard into one of the Valley's top residential and recreation areas. The multi-use paths are free to walk, run or bike, and more than 24 grade-separated crossings keep you away from most cross traffic. Golf courses along the route charge for a round, but the paths and parks don't. Plenty of riders do it in sections, starting from a different park each time. The green lawns and lakes are a cool change from the desert trails in the north end of the city.
