Agua Caliente Park is a 101-acre Pima County park on the northeast side, built around a warm spring and pond that never dry up. Palm trees, mesquite, and paved and gravel trails with interpretive signs surround the water. Entry is free, and the park is open from sunrise to sunset. The 1870s Ranch House is now a visitor center and art gallery, open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. between November and April. People have lived at this spot for about 5,500 years, and a ranch and health resort opened here in 1873. The ranch landscape was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
