About

Tortolita Mountain Park is a 3,100-acre Pima County park in the Tortolita Mountains, reached from the Wild Burro Trailhead near the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in Marana. Its roughly 29 miles of trails include Wild Burro, Wild Mustang, Alamo Spring and the Upper and Lower Javelina trails. Parking at the trailhead and hiking the trails cost nothing. Leashed dogs are welcome on Marana's trail system as long as you pick up after them. Wild Burro Trail is the main way into the park and connects to Upper Javelina and Wild Mustang. In Wild Burro Canyon, keep an eye out for the stone ruins of an old ranch building.
