Stroll Chandler's Historic Town Square

Downtown Chandler grew around the original town square laid out by city founder Dr. A.J. Chandler. Small shops, galleries, restaurants and the historic San Marcos Resort still line the blocks around it. Walking the square and window shopping is free. The restaurants, bars and shops are where you would spend money. Dr. A.J. Chandler Park at the center is being rebuilt, with the west side due in December 2026 and the east side in spring 2027. Expect some construction fencing around the park until then.
