This free community festival celebrates the season of giving with a full day of family fun. Arizona Bilingual Newspaper hosts it each year, and the big draw is a turkey giveaway for local families. Up to 1,000 turkeys are handed out while supplies last. There is live music, folkloric dancing and entertainment, along with free vaccines and tables with community resources. A car giveaway is also part of the day, and the winner must be there to win. The mood is warm, busy and festive, with a strong bilingual, neighborhood feel. It is a good fit for families, neighbors and anyone who wants to share in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
