Family Day at Tucson Museum of Art

About

Once a month the art museum turns into a hands-on space for kids and grown-ups alike. Local artists lead art projects, and each month has its own theme tied to what is on the walls. Families make something to take home, try activities in the galleries and catch short live performances. The featured artist and project change every time, so repeat visits feel new. It works well for young kids, curious teens and parents looking for a creative weekend morning. The activities are included with museum admission, and signing up ahead helps.
