Join the Louis Carlos Bernal Gallery for an opening reception featuring the work of painters Oscar Bernal and Alejandro Macias. The exhibition explores themes of identity and cultural influence through portraiture and abstraction. Both artists' practices are shaped by their experiences living along the U.S./Mexico border, reflecting the impact of border communities on contemporary art. This event offers an opportunity to view the collection and learn about the connections between personal experience and the history of painting.
