Reviews & live hours
Scottsdale had one stoplight when the Coach House opened in 1959. It's the oldest tavern still standing in town, the founding family still runs it, and the staff greet a lot of regulars by name. A 1982 fire gave it the western front you see today. Go during the holidays. The family starts putting up lights the day after Halloween, thousands of them plus garland, ornaments and candy canes, and the bar glows from mid-November through New Year's. Expect cheap beer and honest pours. It fills up with baseball fans during spring training.
