This yearly parade honors veterans from every branch of the military. Marching units, color guards, classic cars, old military vehicles, floats and veterans groups make their way through downtown. Crowds line the sidewalks to wave flags and cheer as each group passes. School JROTC units, scouts and local organizations all take part. It is free and family friendly, and it is a simple way to say thank you to people who served.
