The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter opens its grounds for a Halloween-themed evening benefiting the cats in its care. Visitors tour the sanctuary after dark, with light spooky decor and the shelter's resident cats part of the draw. Admission is a donated, unopened bag of pet food rather than cash. It's a low-key, animal-focused alternative to a haunted house, aimed at cat lovers and families looking to combine Halloween with a good cause.
