Old Pascua's Richey Resource Center hosts a community celebration for Indigenous Peoples Day, organized by Alianza Indigena Sin Fronteras. Outdoor activities fill a dedicated stage through the afternoon and evening. An opening blessing leads into a lineup of traditional performances, including Tohono O'odham gourd singers, an Apache crown dancer, Wa:k basket dancers, and a Yaqui deer dance and Pascola group. Live bands close out the evening. The gathering has the feel of a community powwow, with attendees encouraged to bring their own chairs and settle in for an afternoon of dance, drumming, and music honoring Indigenous culture.
