Revolutionary Grounds Books & Coffee hosts a bilingual open mic for poetry once a month. Writers read their own work in English, Spanish, or both. The room stays casual, with coffee and bookshelves close at hand and a sign-up sheet for anyone ready to read. Styles range from short, personal pieces to longer spoken-word sets. The bilingual format gives it a distinct, neighborhood feel, a gathering built around language and community as much as performance.
