Tucson Open Mic at Solar Culture

About

Solar Culture Gallery opens its stage to anyone who wants to perform. Poets, musicians, and other performers sign up for a turn at the mic. The room fills with a mix of material, from spoken word to songs to short original sets. Performers trade turns in a loose order, with the audience made up mostly of other performers waiting their turn. It has the feel of a small, supportive scene rather than a polished show, a place regulars return to and first-timers can try something new.
