James D. Kriegh Park in Oro Valley hosts a free, family-friendly Halloween gathering each October. The town's Parks and Recreation department organizes the evening as a safe, community-centered alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating. Families can expect trunk-or-treat stations set up around the park, with local vendors and community groups handing out treats from decorated vehicle trunks. Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults alike. The event draws a relaxed, neighborhood crowd looking for an easy evening out before Halloween itself, with plenty of space for kids to roam between stations.
