Festival of Fools: Dark Circus

About

The event blends medieval and renaissance imagery with dark circus performance, inviting guests to dress in costume for a themed evening of music and entertainment. A market featuring dark art and curious oddities runs alongside the show, giving attendees a chance to browse work from local vendors and artists. Live performers work through circus-style acts and sideshow-style entertainment, with dance sets from an electro duo and a darkwave DJ filling out the night. Attendees can watch performances, browse vendor tables, and take part in a ceremonial crowning held partway through the evening. The mood stays theatrical and playful, drawing people who enjoy costuming, performance art, and alternative nightlife. Ticketed access allows an all-ages crowd in for part of the evening before the event shifts to an adult-only atmosphere later on.
