The Tucson Rodeo, known locally as La Fiesta de los Vaqueros, fills the rodeo grounds with professional bull riding, roping, and barrel racing for nine days each February. Contestants come from across the United States and Canada to compete in one of the top professional rodeos in North America, with events running most of the day at the arena on South 6th Avenue.
