A public Chanukah celebration brings the community together outdoors to mark the Festival of Lights. The highlight is the lighting of a large menorah as night falls. Expect music, holiday treats and a warm crowd of families and neighbors gathering for the lighting. It is a short, joyful event that captures the spirit of the holiday. Everyone is welcome, Jewish or not, and admission is free. It is a nice way to share in a holiday tradition with kids.
