St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church opens its grounds for SerbFest, a celebration of Serbian food, music and culture that has run since 2003. General admission is ticketed. Grills sizzle with traditional meats, and tables fill with homemade dishes and baked goods. Folk dancers spin in bright costumes while live bands play Serbian music. The feeling is big, warm and welcoming, like a family party. It suits anyone curious about Serbian culture or simply hungry for something new.
