Chess players of all ages meet every Wednesday evening for rated club games, casual play and speed chess. The club is run by the Southern Arizona Chess Association, a nonprofit. The night is split into two rounds of 30-minute games, so players can sign in early or come later. Between rounds there is plenty of informal play and friendly speed chess. Both new and experienced players are welcome. It is a good spot for anyone who wants regular, steady games against local players.
