Chess fans meet every Saturday afternoon at a cozy Tempe coffee shop. The Phoenix Chess Club hosts this free, casual meetup. Players sit down for friendly games over coffee and pastries. A few boards are on hand, but players are asked to bring their own if they can. Novices and seasoned players mix easily here. The group asks everyone to be kind and respectful at the table.
